POUCH COVE ART RESIDENCY, Newfoundland with the Pollen Collective, March 2022
With eleven multidisciplinary artists I spent a month-long winter residency in a remote part of northern Canada.
Through coastal hikes, we immersed ourselves in the dramatic wilderness, weather, culture and complex history of the province of Newfoundland. Braving constant sub-zero temperatures, we incorporated ocean swimming, exploring, filming and research. The resulting art works, raw and contemplative were exhibited in London at EXPOSURE, a singular exhibition that reveals the abiding connections between the UK and Canada, and our inner and outer worlds.
